You have never seen a fitness area like the one on the Oasis of the Seas. There are a total of 158 cardio and resistance machines that are the latest on the market. An area of the gym is dedicated to free weights and there are numerous fitness classes offered by instructors. These include kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates, spinning, aerobics, Kinesis, circuit and resistance training. You can also hire a personal trainer for the duration of the cruise to design a workout program just for you.

Take your trainers with you on the cruise to walk or jog at your own pace on the padded Jogging Track. This track is free of any obstacles that could cause you to break your stride and with the panoramic views you won’t even realize that you are walking for exercise.







Nintendo Wii Fit is also available for those who are accustomed to working out in this way or for those who want to try it out and decide whether or not they will buy one when they get home. The Sports Deck has outdoor basketball and volleyball courts where you can really work up a sweat.

Tee off at Oasis Dunes, the nine-hole mini-golf course on the ship or take to the ice at Studio B where there are times when the rink is open for general skating. Skates are available free of charge for this venue.

If surfing is your passion, you can take advantage of one of the two FlowRiders on the ship with 40-foot waves. There are two rock climbing walls on Deck 6 with routes for beginners and those who are more experienced in this type of fitness activity.

One of the unique features of the Oasis of the Seas is that it is the first cruise ship to feature a Zip-Line. In this experience you can ride across the open –air Atrium nine decks up.

If you like exercising in water, you have it all on this ship. There is a pool just for swimming laps in the morning and in the afternoon it becomes a sports pool. There is a beach pool and a main pool, plus a water park for families.

The spa has just about every kind of treatment you can imagine. Indulge in your fantasies and take the time to be pampered with a massage or skin treatment. There are saunas and steam rooms as well as various therapy rooms and with 15 whirlpools on the ship you can soak away your aches and pains.
