With all the walking you can do on the Allure of the Seas, you may think there is no need for fitness. However, this cruise ship offers some of the best opportunities in fitness that you will find at sea. The gym contains the latest in fitness equipment for all body types and levels of fitness. The fitness experts on staff are there to help with the use of the machines and to offer advice about fitness in general.

There are regularly scheduled classes in Pilates, aerobics, spinning, Yoga, stretching and more on the Allure of the Seas. Some of these are complimentary and others involve a minimal charge per session. If you really want to make the most of the fitness facilities on this ship, you can hire your own personal trainer for the duration of the cruise. As part of this service, you will receive a body assessment, a report on your metabolic rate and a workout program designed for your needs and level of fitness.

The pools on the ship offer the perfect opportunity to engage in aquatic fitness routines, either by swimming laps of the pool, swimming against the current or surfing on the FlowRider surf simulators. There is also a dedicated walking/jogging track from which you have panoramic views of the ocean, a mini-golf course where you can enhance your driving skills and a rock climbing wall that will really test your endurance levels.

Wellness is also front and center on the Allure of the Seas in the spa with its numerous treatments and massages. There are special treatment rooms as well as separate sauna and steam rooms for men and women. This ship is the first cruise ship to recognize that teens need pampering as well and have a spa just for this age group with treatments just for them.
