If you’ve been lax in your daily workout because of time constraints at home, you won’t have any excuse to put off your routine on the Majesty of the Seas. The gym on this ship is impressive with its range of state of the art equipment. You can try out the treadmills, stationary bikes, stairmasters, resistance machines and free weights. The fitness instructors offer classes in Pilates, Yoga, kickboxing, aerobics, circuit training and resistance training with most of them costing about $10 per class.

One of the perks of the fitness opportunities aboard the Majesty of the Seas is the fact that you can hire your own personal trainer. For a reasonable fee you will have a program designed for your individual needs and level of fitness and a schedule for your workouts for the duration of the cruise.



The rock climbing wall provides the ultimate in fitness opportunities for everyone. There are eleven routes to choose from so that even if you have never had this experience before you can take lessons. The routes are designed for all different levels whether you are a beginner or a veteran.

The jogging track will give you the opportunity to work out in the fresh air. The track is on the outside of the ship and is padded to make it easier on your feet. You just have to bring your footwear with you. The track is clear of obstacles so that you won’t have to break your stride as you walk or jog at your own pace.

Why don’t you try out the Nintendo Wii Fit as part of your fitness routine? This is another possibility on the ship and you may even invest in the game for yourself when you return home. There is a sports deck where you can enjoy basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard or ping pong in an outdoor setting. The netting around the side will prevent the ball from going over the side and ruining your game.

Swim in the main pool on the ship and relax in the adjacent whirlpool. The spa has all the treatments you need for complete pampering and rejuvenation.
