You have all the opportunities in the world to continue your workout at sea and even more, because work won’t interfere with your time in the gym.

The ShipShape Gym contains state of the art fitness equipment for your needs. Here you can work out on the treadmills, stair steppers, weight machines, stationary bikes or work with free weights. There are fitness experts in the gym to answer any of your questions or to help you with the use of the machines. If you wish, you can hire one of these people as your personal trainer for the duration of the cruise.

There are regularly scheduled fitness classes that you can join on the Splendour of the Seas as well. Some of these are complimentary, while others involve a nominal fee. The classes offered include spinning, Pilates, Yoga, circuit and resistance training, kickboxing and aerobics.

The rock climbing wall is the ultimate fitness activity and lessons are provided free of charge for those who want to try it for the first time. There are eleven routes you can take on this wall so that you can have a different experience each time. Some of these routes are just for beginners, while others are more challenging.

The padded jogging track provides you with the opportunity to enjoy your daily walk or jog at your own pace in the fresh air while you take in then panoramic views from high on the ship. The Sports Deck has a basketball/volleyball court for those who really like to be active and there is a putting green and mini-golf course for the golfers on a cruise.

The Solarium Pool is for adults only and is the perfect place to swim laps as part of your daily exercise. Since there is a retractable roof over this pool, inclement weather won’t interfere with your workout.

With all the fitness activities, you will have aching muscles and this is where the spa can really help rejuvenate you. There are many different treatments offered in the spa that will give you the pampering you look forward to on a cruise. Whirlpools in the spa and adjacent to the pools are places where you can soak away your aches and pains and enjoy a drink and conversation with your friends.
