Your daily fitness routine doesn’t have to stop when you take a cruise on the Radiance of the Seas. The fitness center has everything you need to work out as you take in the panoramic views from the floor to ceiling windows. The state of the art equipment in this facility includes treadmills, stair steppers, stationary bikes, free weights and weight machines.
There is a fitness instructor on the cruise offering classes in Pilates, Yoga, spinning, aerobics, kickboxing, circuit training and resistance training. There is a schedule for classes posted in all staterooms as well as a list of fees that may apply to some of them. You can also start a new fitness routine on the Radiance of the Seas by hiring your own personal trainer to develop a work out based on your body type and level of fitness. ![]() The Sports Court contains basketball and volleyball courts that are enclosed with netting and there is a rock climbing wall with eleven different routes to choose from. Each of these routes offers a different challenge with some of them designed for beginners. Tee off on the putting green to get in some practice at sea and play a game of mini-golf for fun and to enhance your skills. With the Nintendo Wii Fit you can work out just as you do at home and if you are skilled in this you may even win one of the tournaments. The jogging track is padded to make it easier on your feet. As you walk or jog at your own pace, you can enjoy the fresh air on your face and your eyes can feast on the sights of the sea. Once you finish your workout, or even if you don’t work out at all, there are whirlpools where you can soak away your aches and pains. The spa has sauna and steam rooms that are complimentary for all passengers to use. Indulge in a treatment in one of the treatment rooms of this area of the ship where you can take in light, sound and vibration therapy, a hair and scalp treatment and more. There are three pools on the ship, one of which is just for children. Swim laps of the Solarium Pool where adults only are allowed. This is a great retreat for your early morning exercise when most of the other passengers are still asleep of having breakfast and will be a perfect start to a perfect day. |
