Children have all the facilities they need to provide them with the cruise of a lifetime on the Brilliance of the Seas from programs geared toward specific age groups to their own menus in the main dining room. Teenagers are in a different room from the younger kids and have a full slate of activities directed toward their interest levels. In this way, parents can feel comfortable leaving the children in the capable hands of the counsellors and go off to enjoy their own pursuits on the ship.

The Guest Relations Desk in Centrum, the main Atrium of the ship, handles a myriad of tasks at once, whether you want to book a shore excursion, exchange money or get answers to your questions. This area of the ship also houses the shopping district with its many upscale boutiques selling a range of goods, such as perfume, jewellery and clothing, but you can also buy the mundane things you run out of such as toothpaste or pain medication.

There is a book store in this location where you can sit back with a coffee and thumb through the book to see if it meets with your approval. However, you can check out a book from the library where you can curl up in one of the comfy chairs and take in the panoramic view.

There is dial up Internet in every cabin on the Brilliance of the Seas. The cost is very minimal and allows you to stay in touch with those at home.

Have a professional photo taken by one of the ship’s photographers or buy a photo in the Photo Gallery that will remind you of a special event on the cruise. You can also have your photos developed in this location before you even leave the ship. Browse the selection of artwork in the Art Gallery where something may strike you eye and you can bid on it during one of the auctions during the days at sea.

Take in a movie at sea without having to pay for the service and room service is also a complimentary service at any time of the day or night.
