The Rhapsody of the Seas has all the facilities you need for the cruise of a lifetime. The Boutiques of Centrum provides you with the opportunity to shop at all hours of the day or night because they never close. Along the Royal Promenade, you can pop into a jewellery store, a perfume store, several stores selling clothing, a souvenir store and a discount store where you can pick up toiletries and sundry items.

With a spa and fitness center on the ship, you have all the time in the world to work out on the equipment in the gym or be pampered like never before in one of the treatment rooms. Sauna and steam rooms are available and if you want to hone your golfing skills there is a putting course on the Sports Deck. Here you will also find ping pong tables, shuffleboard, ring toss and even play football if you wish.




The enrichment activities on the Rhapsody of the Seas are very varied. You can take part in wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, take dancing lessons or lessons in ice carving or learn how to juggle. There are parties and theme nights as well as trivia games for adults and teens.

Children have a full slate of activities to keep them busy and give their parents some time to themselves. There are four divisions in this program:

• Aquanauts – ages 3 to 5
• Explorers – ages 6 to 8
• Voyagers – ages 9 to 12
• Navigators – ages 13 to 17

Each group has supervised activities with teenagers gathering in the FantaSeas Teen Center and the younger kids gathering at Club Ocean.

Smoking is not permitted in the staterooms or on the balconies, but you can have a smoke in the Crown and Anchor Study or in other designated places on the ship. The Library is well-stocked with all genres of literature and is a quiet place to read or enjoy the views out to sea.

Check in with the office or those at home from one of the computers in the Internet Cafe where you pay by the minute for the time you use.

The conference room on the Rhapsody of the Seas can accommodate 184 people and has the latest technology for all kinds of presentations. There is also a medical center on the ship to take care of any first aid needs that may arise.
