Entertainment is first class on the Freedom of the Seas and is of such a variety that there is truly something for everyone. Enjoy a professional show on ice complete with lighting effects and music at Center Ice, the ice skating rink on the ship. You can also take advantage of this venue for skating during certain times of the day.

The comfortable seats of the Arcadia Theater are the perfect venue for enjoying large scale productions on the massive stage. The technology is world-class bringing a wide variety of enhancements to the performance in sound and lighting effects. Another venue for taking in a show on this ship is the Pharoah’s Lounge featuring cabaret acts and a wide variety of solo performances.

Dance to the beat of the music in the Crypt, which spans two decks of the ship. The Royal Promenade is designed to look like a city street lined with shops providing all the retail therapy you can handle and cafes and bars where you can grab a snack or a beverage of your choice.

Listen to the pianist tickling the ivories in the Schooner Bar or drink a toast to a special occasion at the Champagne Bar. Karaoke is the name of the game at the On Air Club adjacent to the rink and you can enjoy the atmosphere and food of a traditional English pub when you pop into the Bull and Bear.

The Casino Royale is a destination all its own on the Freedom of the Seas featuring numerous slot machines and gaming tables. Even if you don’t gamble, you should at least walk through this venue to take in the sights and sounds along with the tremendous view through the floor to ceiling windows. Have a drink at the bar as you watch the action on the floor.

The Viking Crown Lounge consists of several small bars and lounges, each with its own theme and decor. If you like playing cards, then you can pull up a chair in the Seven of Hearts and order a drink from the bar as you play a game with your friends. Cloud Nine is a quiet lounge where you can enjoy some peace and quiet as you sip on your drink and engage your fellow passengers in conversation. Olive or Twist is the ship’s jazz bar, while the Diamond Club is reserved for those who have suite accommodations. All of the venues combined offer a 360° view as you sail along.

Some of the other bars and lounges on the ship include the Pool Bar, the Plaza Bar and the Sky Bar. If you are not brave enough to try surfing on the FlowRider you can watch those who are from the safety of Wipe Out with its view of the pool. Children on a cruise, as well as adults of all ages, find great entertainment in the Games Arcade.
