Catch a performance by the Wave Revue, the resident song and dance troupe of the Rhapsody of the Seas or a performance by a guest celebrity in Broadway Melodies, the main theatre lounge on the ship. There is a different performance each night of the cruise so you won’t see the same one twice on a cruise. The seating is that of a theatre with exceptional views of the stage no matter where you are seated and the lighting and sound technology will really enhance the experience.

The Viking Crown Lounge is a circular lounge in the center of the ship from which you have a 360° view at all times. The elevators from the Centrum will take you to the lounge. During the day, you also have a view of the action taking place around the pool. You can sip on your drink during the day as you take in the views, but at night this location becomes the disco on the ship where you can dance the night away.

Casino Royale, located on Deck 5, has 177 slot machines and 10 gaming tables. There are daily tournaments in this venue and if you would like to sit in on a game at night and are not sure about how to play, there are free lessons offered during the day as well.



The Shall We Dance Lounge is the setting for many different types of entertainment on the ship. This is where you can take to the stage with karaoke, participate in a game show, play Bingo or take dancing lessons during the day. A live band will entertain you in the evening hours and you can dance to the old favourites from past decades.

If you like listening to piano music and perhaps singing along with your favourites, then the Schooner Bar will probably be where you spend most of your time. The pianist will take requests from the audience and yet the music is not loud enough to drown out your conversation.

The Pool Bar will provide you with refreshment as you lounge around on the pool deck and there is plenty of champagne in the Champagne Bar when you want to drink a toast for a special occasion.
