From dining in luxury to taking in a large scale production to sitting by the side of the pool or having a drink in one of the bars and lounges, the Legend of the Seas excels in the types of entertainment it offers on each and every cruise. The That’s Entertainment Theatre even has its own special production called the Wave Revue to make sure you get all the laughs and music that you need. In addition to the musicals and shows that rival the Vegas strip during the evenings, you can take in fashion shows and game shows as part of your afternoon entertainment if you wish.

There are a variety of parties and theme nights where you can act the fool and still be one of the crowd. Dress up for the Captain’s Welcome Party, wear a toga on Toga night or become a pirate on the high seas on Pirate night. Dance to the sock hop tunes and wear your bobby socks on the 50’s and 60’s night on the ship.



The panoramic Viking Crown Lounge is one venue where you will want to spend a lot of time. In its perch high atop the ship, the views are tremendous. During the day you can take in the panoramic views out to see and by night you can dance at the disco.

At the Casino Royale, there are 170 slot machines and 10 gaming tables. There are daily tournaments on the cruise advertised in the outline of the daily activities. There are free lessons offered in the afternoons as well if you don’t know how to play any of the games.

Live bands take to the stage at Anchors Aweigh each evening. There is a dance floor where you can kick up your heels to the Rock and Roll tunes. During the day you can take part in a Bingo tournament or a cruise director’s game show in the early evenings.

If you want to just sit and enjoy the music while sipping on your drink and enjoy the view, the Schooners Lounge is a popular venue on the Legend of the Seas. Here you can sing along to the tunes the pianist plays on the piano.

Listen to jazz music or the music of a string quartet at the Champagne Bar where you can toast a special occasion or a special person with a fine wine or champagne.

Relax on the pool deck with a drink from the Pool Bar or have one to accompany your fast food favourites in the Solarium Bar.

Shopping is entertainment on this ship as well with the Boutiques in the Centrum open 24 hours a day.
