This is the name of the ice rink on the ship where you don’t have to pay any money to take in an extravagant performance complete with spectacular lighting and music. There are also times when the rink is open to passengers who want to skate on their own and the skates are free of charge, so you don’t have to bring any with you.

Take in a large scale production in The Savoy Theater with its true stadium style seating. There are no bad seats in this venue because each one has an exceptional view of the action on the stage. Light and sound effects enhance all performances making this form of entertainment one that you will remember.




The Viking Crown Lounge is located on the very top deck of the ship and as such affords 360 degree views at all times. This lounge is actually made up of five different lounges, each with its own unique ambiance and decor. The 19th Hole for example is devoted entirely to golf and Cloud Nine is a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy your drink and quiet listening music. The other lounges making up this large venue are the Seven Hearts, a card club, the Jazz Club and the Crow’s Nest.

Dance the night away in the Dragon’s Lair, the two-level disco on the Mariner of the Seas, or to the sounds of Latin music in Bolero’s. There is a Gaming Arcade as well as a huge casino featuring almost 300 slot machines. There are 19 gaming tables for your enjoyment and even if you don’t know how to play the games, you can take free lessons during the day. Sing along with piano tunes in the Schooner bar or experience a traditional English pub in the Wig and Gavel.

There are two main pools on this ship where you can play in the water and sunbathe on the deck. You don’t have to walk far for a refreshing beverage because there are bars adjacent to these areas as well.

A cruise on the Mariner of the Seas is one non-stop party for all ages. Teens have their own disco and children have their own pool and activity center. The spa will pamper your aching muscles and you can stay fit in the gym or sports court.

It is not only during the nights that you can be surrounded by entertainment on this ship. Music serenades you as you relax by the side of the pool and there are many different contests and tournaments organized by the crew. The Royal Promenade is often the setting for impromptu performances. Take in an art auction or a wine tasting event or enhance your skills with one of the many demonstrations.
