Entertainment day and night is the theme of the Allure of the Seas in the many types of venues and choices it has for the passengers on the ship cruising to the Caribbean. The neighbourhood concept offers seven different themed areas on the ship, each with its own type of entertainment.

The Boardwalk features restaurants, lounges and retail outlets where everyone can have the time of their lives at sea. There are carnival games that everyone can enjoy and a full carousel that is sure to provide children of all ages with many happy hours.

Try out the zip line, the first of its kind on any cruise ship. This is located nine decks above the sea on the Allure of the Seas offering the ultimate in aerial entertainment. The AquaTheater is located at the stern end of the Boardwalk. During the day this is one of the pools on the ship and at night it is the setting for aquatic entertainment, such as acrobatics, synchronized swimming, water ballet and professional diving high-diving events.

Levitate at the Rising Tide Bar, another first among cruise ships. This bar rises and falls as you sip on your drink and descend or rise the various levels of the ship, such as descending down to Central Park. Central Park is an oasis in the midst of action for those who like to spend a little quiet time. It is designed just like Central Park with lush greenery and places where you can sit and take in the scenery around you. You will think you are actually in New York City rather than sailing along the sea.

The Pool and Sports Zone has a sloped area that makes it seem as if you are on a beach on a Caribbean resort. The Allure of the Seas features two large FlowRider surf simulators and the spa has an area just for teens in addition to the standard offerings for adults.

During the evening hours there are so many venues offering different kinds of entertainment that it will be hard to enjoy them all on one cruise. All genres of music are featured as well as several venues for dancing. The Allure of the Seas the first cruise ship to offer nursery services as part of its Children’s Program with services for babies from 6 months of age.
