You are never too far from the stage when you take in a large scale production in the Coral Theatre on the Jewel of the Seas. Here you can take in a Broadway or Vegas style show and solo performances by musicians and comedians. It is also the setting for some of the daytime entertainment on the ship, such as Fashion Shows and Game Shows.

There are four different clubs in the Colony Club located on Deck 6. Each one has its own decor and ambiance, so be sure to check out all of them before you decide on a favourite. Play a game of billiards in the Game Reserve where there are two self-levelling tables, enjoy the gaming tables of the Zanzibar Bar, sing along with the tunes played on the piano at the Safari Club and sip on your drinks as you enjoy a game of cards in the Serengeti Card Club.




If you want to see how lucky you can be, the Casino Royale will likely be your first stop. Here you will find 195 slot machines and 12 gaming tables. There are tournaments that take place during a cruise as well as card and game lessons during the day.

The Viking Crown Lounge, located on the top of the ship, has 360° views both day and night. As you take in the panoramic scenery by day, you can sit back in your comfortable chair and by night you will feel as if you are dancing under the stars. This is the disco of the Jewel of the Seas and is a destination all its own on the ship.

Some of the other entertainment venues you can check out on your cruise include:

• The Schooner Bar and the Lobby Bar for just listening or singing along to the music. Both of these have a small dance floor when your feet want to do more than just tap along to the beat.
• The Hollywood Odyssey, where you can buy a cigar or indulge in a smoke on the ship
• The Pit Stop, where you can keep up with the latest in sporting news or catch the big game on TV
• The Solarium Bar, the Pool Bar and the Sky Bar, where you have a drink as you relax by the side of the pool

Teenagers on the ship have their own space for entertainment in the Fuel Teen Disco.

If shopping is on your list of entertainment venues, you don’t have to wait until you are in port. The Boutiques of the Centrum are open 24 hours a day and include clothing stores, a jewelry store, photo gallery, perfume shop and souvenir shop.

There are parties and theme nights on the Jewel of the Seas as well, such as the Welcome Party, the Toga Party and the 50’s and 60’s night just to name a few. Daytime activities include Bingo, fun contests and challenges and there are plenty of fitness machines in the gym for you to use for your workout needs.

The Pool is usually the busiest place on the ship during the sunny days at sea but the deck is spacious enough to accommodate everyone.
