The formal dining room on the Rhapsody of the Seas, the Edelweiss, is a two level area where you can develop a sense of comradeship with those seated at the surrounding tables as well as get to know your tablemates. An elegant staircase in the center of the room connects the two levels and the floor to ceiling windows provide a panoramic view of the sea as you dine.

You can choose to dine at whatever time you please if you opt for the My Time dining or stick with the traditional style of having an assigned table and sitting time for dinner. You can sit wherever you wish if you decide to have breakfast and lunch in this venue. The room can accommodate 1200 guests at one sitting and there is no need to rush if you dine early in the evening. You can linger as long as you like over your meal and dessert.

Have a buffet style breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer Cafe and enjoy a casual atmosphere for dinner. This venue is open almost all the time and serves afternoon tea as well as a midnight snack for those who like to party into the wee hours of the morning. You can sit at a table inside the cafe or take your tray to one of the tables on the balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air and the sights of the ocean.

In the Solarium Cafe you can feast on burgers, fries and other fast food items right by the side of the pool. You don’t have to move very far from your lounge chair for lunch or a snack when you feel the hunger pangs coming on.

Room service is available 24 hours a day and you can even order from the Edelweiss menu during lunch and dinner if you feel like dining in your stateroom. As you enjoy the nightly entertainment in the bars and lounges, you can also enjoy snack food as it is available in these venues as well.
