Delightfully large staterooms are the norm on the Legend of the Seas. There are categories of accommodations to accommodate large numbers of guests, such as the Royal Family Suite that can accommodate up to eight guests. This type of stateroom is actually two interconnecting staterooms each containing two twin beds that can be configured as one queen size bed. The living room area of the suite has a sleeper sofa that pulls out to make a double bed and there is a Pullman bed. Added to this luxury, you have two bathrooms, one of which has a tub and shower and the other has a shower only.
Suites generally have a separate bedroom and the upper categories have larger balconies and bathrooms with a whirlpool tub. All the accommodations on the ship contain an interactive, closed circuit TV, a wall safe, hairdryer and vanity table, sofa and chairs in the sitting room and a refrigerator and mini-bar. ![]() It is not hard to have a view of the ocean as you sail on the Legend of the Seas with the many choices that exist in addition to those of the suites. Ocean view staterooms with balconies measure 193 square feet and have a 38 square foot balcony. You can also choose a room with a view through a large picture window. These accommodations measure 154 square feet in size and contain all the amenities of the balcony staterooms. The private bathroom contains a shower only, just as it does in the interior cabins. The standard interior cabins on the Legend of the Seas measure 149 square feet, but you do have the option of choosing a superior category that measures 172 square feet. The majority of these cabins are designed for two guests, but there are some that have a sleeper sofa in the sitting room area and can accommodate up to four people in the room. Accommodations for passengers with physical handicaps are available in all categories. The dimensions of the rooms vary according to the category you choose but all have wide doors well able to accommodate a wheelchair. The bathroom has no step showers and they are large enough for a wheelchair to fit right into the shower. |
