There is plenty of room for the 3314 passengers the Mariner of the Seas can carry in the 480 inside rooms and 1077 outside rooms on the ship. There is a wide variety of suites available in varying sizes ranging from Junior suites measuring 299 square feet with a 65 square foot balcony to the Royal Suite measuring 1325 square feet with a 248 square foot balcony. In addition to the extra space you get with a suite, you also get extra amenities, such as priority reservations at the rock climbing wall, alternative restaurants and the spa.

The Mariner of the Seas caters to families in the larger than normal suites and staterooms it has available for larger groups. The family suite, for example, consists of two separate bedrooms. There are two twin beds in one bedroom that can be configured to become one queen size bed if you prefer. The living room contains a sofa bed and in the second bedroom there are two Pullman beds. This suite has two bathrooms, one of which has just a shower. Eight guests can be quite comfortable in this suite.

The Royal Suite has a separate bedroom as well and in the bathroom there is a corner whirlpool tub in addition to the standard shower. All the suites have walk-in closets, but this one has a baby grand piano in the living room, a wet bar and entertainment center in addition to the standard amenities found in all staterooms.

No matter what accommodations you book on the Mariner of the Seas, you have amenities such as coffee and tea making facilities in your room, a wall safe, hair dryer, closed circuit interactive TV, telephone, radio, mini-bar and refrigerator.

Outside staterooms also come in different categories and sizes. They range from 184 square feet to 206 square feet in the room and the corresponding balconies measure 46 square feet and 42 square feet. If the balcony doesn’t really matter, you can still have a view of the ocean through a large picture window in a standard room measuring 161 square feet. The family stateroom in this category is larger at 328 square feet and can sleep up to six guests.

Standard staterooms, whether they are inside or out, are usually designed to sleep two guests. However, there are some that do have a sleeper sofa in the sitting room area that can sleep two more guests.

Interior cabins measure between 153 and 158 square feet. You can still have a room with a view in this category by booking a room that overlooks the Royal Promenade. There are wheelchair accessible accommodations in all categories that have larger than normal doorways and no impediments to a wheelchair in the bathrooms.
