There are a higher precentage of outside cabins on the Liberty of the Seas than there are on just about all other cruise ships and over half of these have balconies. The standard amenities that you can enjoy in all the accommodations on the ship, including interior cabins and suites, include a hair dryer, vanity table and chair, wall safe, refrigerator and mini-bar and closed-circuit interactive TV. There is plenty of closet and storage space in all the staterooms and you also have a telephone and radio for your needs. This ship also has wireless Internet service, so there is no problem with bringing along your laptop.

In addition to booking an interior cabin, which is the cheapest category in accommodations, you can have one that offers a view of the Promenade. Standard interior cabins measure 152 square feet, and the promenade cabins measure 149 square feet. The bathrooms contain a shower only, but it does have a sliding glass door. If you and your family are taking a cruise on this ship there are spacious accommodations available in the interior category that can easily sleep six guests.

The standard ocean view staterooms range from those with a large picture window to those with only a porthole window. These range from 161 square feet to just over 200 square feet and have a small sitting room with a sofa. In some of the staterooms this sofa can pull out to become a double bed making more room for guests who want to stay together. The family choices in this category are larger at 233 square feet and have a bedroom and sitting room area with space enough for six.

If you want a stateroom that has a balcony, you have two choices on the Liberty of the Seas. The Deluxe Stateroom measures177 square feet and has a 74 square foot balcony. The Superior Stateroom is larger at 189 square feet, but the balcony is smaller at 68 square feet. Balconies are furnished with a plastic table and two chairs where you can sit and enjoy a meal or the sunset.

If a suite is what you want in accommodations, you have a fine selection to choose from. There is only one Royal Suite, which is the most luxurious of all. It measures over 1000 square feet and has a large balcony measuring 377 square feet. This suite, along with the Owner’s Suites, the Grand Suites and the Family Suites, has separate bedrooms and the bathrooms have a whirlpool tub in addition to the shower. The Family suite actually has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

When you book a suite on the Liberty of the Seas you have access to extra amenities. These include priority reservations at the spa and the rock climbing wall, the ability to pre-select your wines for dinner and access to the private Concierge Club, which is open 24 hours a day.
