Staterooms and suites to suit all budget and cruising interests are available on the Freedom of the Seas. Choose a Royal Suite measuring 1406 square feet with a 377-sqaure foot balcony if you want the most luxurious accommodations on the ship. Featuring a king size bed in the main bedroom, a queen size sofa bed, a private hot tub on the balcony and a private bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower you won’t want to leave the suite to enjoy everything else the ship has to offer.
Family accommodations on this ship include a Presidential suite measuring 1215 square feet with a huge balcony measuring 810 square feet. This suite can easily accommodate 14 guests with two sets of twin beds that convert to queen size beds, five upper berths and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. A Royal Family Suite measuring 588 square feet and containing a 234 square foot balcony can accommodate up to 8 guests and there are cheaper accommodations for a group of people in a standard family size stateroom. This is an oceanview stateroom that can sleep six with plenty of room to move about as well as an interior stateroom that can sleep six. ![]() You do have other choices in suites on the Freedom of the Seas in an Owner’s Suite measuring 614 square feet with a 209 square foot balcony and a junior suite that measures 287 square feet with a balcony measuring 101 square feet. There is also a Grand Suite measuring 387 square feet with a spacious 126 square foot balcony. While all the staterooms on the ship contain closed circuit TV’s, hair dryer, wall safe, spacious closets, and private bathrooms, you do have extra amenities when you book a suite. These include priority reservations in the specialty restaurants, the spa, shore excursions and the rock climbing wall as well as access to the Concierge Lounge. You also have concierge service and can pre-order your wines for dinner. Balcony staterooms vary in size from 177 to 189 square feet and the balconies are either 68 square feet or 74 square feet. All have two twin beds that can convert to a queen size bed and a sofa in the sitting room area. In some staterooms, this is a sleeper sofa so that four guests can stay in one stateroom. If you want a view of the ocean but don’t care whether or not you have a balcony, you can choose a stateroom with a large picture window providing you with a fantastic view. Some have a 24-inch round window through which natural light can come into the room. The interior staterooms measure 152 square feet in size and contain all the same amenities as those on the outside of the ship. There are wheelchair accessible accommodations in all categories with extra-wide doors and no step showers that are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. |
