Whatever the size of your group cruising on the Grandeur of the Seas you will find the accommodations to suit you. There are plenty of interconnecting staterooms on this ship and suites that can accommodate as many as 8 guests quite comfortably. All include closed circuit TV, radio and telephone, hair dryer, wall safe, refrigerator and mini-bar. The bathrooms in the standard oceanview and interior cabins have a shower only, but those of the higher-end suites have a whirlpool tub in addition to the shower.
The largest and most luxurious of the suites is that of the Royal Suite, which measures 1119 square feet. The balcony is also quite large at 148 square feet. There is a king sized bed in the bedroom and the living room contains a sofa that converts to a queen size bed. There is also a baby grand piano in the living room area. ![]() Other suites range in size from 245 square feet to 5qq square feet. The family suite is 532 square feet and has two bedrooms each containing two twin beds that can be converted to one queen size bed. There is also a double sofa bed and a Pullman bed in the living room. This type of accommodations features two bathrooms one of which has a tub and shower and the other contains only a shower. When you decide you want an ocean view as you sail along, you have the option of choosing a stateroom with a balcony or one with a large picture window. Those with a balcony measure 190 square feet and have a 36 square foot balcony. The staterooms with a large picture window measure 154 square feet. Interior cabins measure 146 square feet in size. For passengers with physical disabilities, there is a range of wheelchair accessible suites and staterooms to suit your needs and your budget. These staterooms have wider than usual doors and no step showers so that the wheelchair can fit right in. While smoking is not permitted in any of the staterooms on the Grandeur of the Seas, there are designated areas where you are permitted to smoke. |
